Yeah, that sucks. Before this afternoon I had never heard of that - they are doing 2 sets with 2 different crowds. Ana said that you could buy a ticket for the first set or the second set, or both.

I wonder if they clear the house after the first set - it's kind of odd.

Tighter spacing???!!! The SR5 is tight enough. I find it perfect, and I've only heard people wanting wider spacing, never hear tighter before.
W*rwicks have tighter spacing, and it feels gawd-awful.

Yes. They clear the house b/w sets. It's a chinese restaurant and they also have bands there. They generally get some good bands coming through. Both shows = $20; 8pm show $17; 10pm show $12

I guess it's good for the band but not good for me.

Many of the clubs in Boston do the same thing for the jazz acts too. Two sets, clear the house for two different crowds.

Pete,

I had heard of her, but never really heard her music.
So I checked her out on YouTube. Man!!! She's more than a pretty face.
I've been on a huge blues kick for the last year. I think I'm in love!
Thanks for posting. :D

Over the years, I've heard moaning and groaning here and there about WIDER string spacing - you know, "If only EBMM would offer the option of wider string spacing".

This is the first time I've ever heard anyone want TIGHTER string spacing.

WIDER spacing? No! Please no.
People should get a Yamaha then. They sell basses that look like aircraft carriers. :D

1 of the things i love about MM is that they DON'T have wide (or maybe that's normal) spacing. I have two SR'5's and the spacing could be a little tighter. But that's my personal taste. :D

Would love to try the Sterling 5. wow.

This thread was my first introduction to Ana.
She's one of the best female guitarist I know.

I just found out she's coming to the local Bluesfest this summer and am pretty excited.
She was set to open for Jeff Healey which obviously isn't happening.

It should be a good show and I'm really looking forward to it!

she's very pretty....
I agree, but he probably shouldn't be licking her like that.

I actually prefer tighter spacings for general playing (but not slap), i prefer the feel of my tobias 5 for that, but i still pick the sub up over the tobias just based on tone.
