My SM-Y2D
I grew up using mostly humbuckers, but I appreciate the otherworld clearness of a single-coil too.

---------------
Edit:
My favorite tremolo (vibrato) is my Silo's and Luke's.
My favorite frets are my Silo's.
My favorite humbucker is the Luke's.
My favorite middle position single coil is the Luke's.
My favorite pickup config is the Y2D.
Favorite finish is the Y2D.

SM-Y2D barely edges out the Luke due to it's pickup config.

my B tuned SM y2d, it rumbles peoples' beer right off the table. otherwise, if you hold it still, it shakes the bubbles off of it anyway :p

Ok, I probably should've done a poll, but here's my best calculation of the responses. Anyone who said one of two or three guitars wasn't counted. If you couldn't decide what your #1 is right now, I wasn't going to guess. ;)

Here's the tally:

JP6 - 15 (7 BFRs*)
JP7 - 2 (1 BFR*)
* BFR could mean the BFR guitar or the BFR rosewood neck

Axis - 8
Axis Super Sport - 5
EVH - 2

Luke - 11 (2 BFRs)

Silo - 5
Silo Special - 3

Morse - 5 (2 Y2Ds)

25th - 4

20th - 3

AL - 2 (1 BFR)

Very interesting.

No pics at the moment, but my BFR Albert Lee in Pearl White SSS trem is getting most of the playtime. The solid IRW neck really proved itself on a gig last week when the relative humidity was really high and I was sticking to my gloss guitars. Played it outside again yesterday and the guest guitarist was Buck Owens' old lead picker; he was mightily impressed. It's really light with perfect balance, the legendary AL ergonomics, and the rosewood neck adds so much tight low-end that it's one of the fattest SSS strat-styles I've ever played.
Hey Spud! I swapped all the gold stuff off my 2006 Ltd. to the new white one and sold the black 06 to a high-profile pro player. We're both happy campers!
Now I just need another Luke, and a 25th, and a Silo doubleneck...Eric
