ok, so who's closest to actually having one of these in their hands???
I'm dying to see one.
I'm guessing eBay may show us first!

I checked with my dealer, and they have no news of when it's coming... They said most likely late July or early August...:(

I'm hoping EBMM senses my desparation and decides to be nice to me...:D

Actually if you have the build number, CS will be able to help you out.

JPs, and the Sterling have all shown up. Not the silo or specs I think, as they are quite "exclusive". ;)

Rob,

Thanks for the link to that LE 08 Luke. Man...I wish they'd use those gold knobs on the Silo. Didn't CS tell somebody that the Silo will have black knobs? Why couldn't they use these gold knobs on the Silo?

So I walked into Tom Lee Music on Granville in Vancouver the other day and lo and behold the guitar on the front of their display is 08 LE Pet without the Piezo and JP inlays. At first I didn't see the gold as the lighting wasn't the best on the display until I read the tag and seen the fretboard. The colour is much better in person than in any pictures I have seen and the gold hardware really adds a touch of class.

I had immediate gas for it and was ready to buy it then and there. I ask the manager if he's willing to come off the ticket price any as I thought it was quite a bit higher than what I could order one with the same configurations for. Nope....he wasn't willing to bend. They just received it earlier in the week and he wasn't willing to move it for anything less. He said he would come down on pretty much every other guitar in stock but he wasn't willing to go down on the LE, which kind of told me that he did have room but he was in no immediate rush. So I simply walked out of Tom Lee Music with my money in my pockets and convinced that I was probably going to buy a 2008 '08 LE at some point but I'll probably buy from somewhere else or even just order one as we approach the ordering deadline.

Sequoia Gold is an absolute stunner in person.

Many thanks to another forum member who posted this picture in a different thread. I thought I'd post it here as well. Thanks, SOMESMERIZED!

Rob / Whitestrat,

Either of you heard any news on your LE08's? Just curious. I had a dream about getting my LE08 last night. So, I woke up with a bittersweet taste in my mouth :)
