That rig rules!!! Of course, I'm partial to any amp with Marvel Comics action figures atop it. :D

I've never heard of "Splawn" though, what can you tell me? Do they have a web site?

hulk's my favorite! but he knows better than to smash my amp..hehehe..

alotta people haven't heard of Scott Splawn..here's a little bit about him!

he's from NC, been modding marshalls for years...started to make his own line of amps a few years ago...also makes custom cabinets

www.splawnamplification.com

he's a great guy, does TOP notch work...

the one I have here is a Quick Rod..it looks like the Pro Mod but that's just cause of the head case I have it in...

the QR is like a marshall on steriods...it can go from the plexi type of tone all the way to incinerating distortion...it kinda gets billed as the EVH brown sound or an 80's hair rock type of amp, but it's really much more than that...

there's clips and stuff on the site...pretty accurate...I know a few people who've been raving about this amp for awhile..so I bit the bullet and bought one, without ever having played it..which coulda been a big mistake..it was no mistake!!!

Yup, those amps kick major ass. A local guy here plays one in the clubs from time to time and he's one of those guys that I always think has a really great sound. The clips on the splawn site are quite accurate, the ones that are just straight guitar->amp clips.

Nice amp!

I love my JP, but I've always wanted a Lynch model as well. One day I will have one. George Lynch has always been one of my favorite guitarists, the guy can really burn. I had not heard of Splawn amps either, sounds like my kind of amp, will definitely check them out.

You've obviously not set it up correctly if the action figures are still standing. ;)

Looks great, Congratulations! I've heard nothing but good about Splawn.

If you don't mind me asking, how much was the Splawn? I've got a birthday coming up in January and the clips I hear are great. I love that VH tone but the QR sounds like it can do more.

Thanks.
