Off Topic Speaker cabinet review

Hey all,

I'm after some helpful hints on things to listen out for on an Orange 2*12 cabinet that i may pickup second hand. Being one that has not had a head/cabinet combination before, i want to know what i should be sounding out for and questions i should asking. I've already asked the obvious, age, amps played through it etc. So i'd appreciate some feedback from those who know better, more so from those who have an Orange 2*12 and what you use. My thought was to team it up with an Egnater rebel 20...how does this sound? I've play the Egnater rebel with Egnater 1 *12 cabinet and it did not sound like there was enough low end response so i'm figuring a 2*12 would do the trick. What do you think?

I had a Orange 2x12 cabinet, it was heavy, huge, and expensive.

I now have a Geezer 2x12 cabinet it sounds just as good as my Orange did and I love it!

It's NOT really the cabinet per se, it's the speakers!!

I believe that Orange Cab, depending on the year, has Celestion V30's, which in my opinion are the BEST 2 speaker cab sounds out there!!
