BTW ~ here's a shot of the Ray sharing the lawn with my '83 Squier...

...and in the "studio"...

The SR4 and my Ashdown rig are a perfect combo...the tone is amazing, and there is plenty of stage volume when needed!

Proof that you don't need a mega-rig to get your point across...

Thanks, Steve! Getting out on the cruiser today and meeting up with my boss at his place, then it's off to Four Corners in Woodside...a *somewhat* smaller version of Sturgis (usually about 200-300 bikes) that converge there and chow over at "Alice's Restaurant" every Sunday.

Then it's back home to spend some quality time with the Ray...and my wife!

I've come back to that "80's" thread a few times to day to listen to that Bernard Edwards clip. Honestly, I had never heard of him until today, but his tone is really classic. I never realised that was a SR with flats.

Shamus, you should have been down in Panama City, Florida for Thunder Beach. I'm not big on bikes but my dad has an '05 Harley Davidson Softail. I would guess there was somewhere around 800 bikes.
