Well I was about to sell my metal flake green SSS Silo special...then i set her up...wow. So i can get more live use i have decided to convert to an HSS.

Q- Do EBMM still do crazy cool pickguards like "black ice", swirly stuff and the like?

Q - What colour would you put on the metal flake green?

Im in the mood for a change.

Cheers,

J

I've got mine ( see my other thread ) from Mike at quickguards.com if he uses my template you need to know that I've moved the volume pot slightly.

Chandler is who I order from as they are the company that makes the factory EBMM pickguards. I don't have a color suggestion but I do know most of the crazy colors are still available through Chandler but often with different names than EBMM used.

If the SSS is the one in your You Tube clips , I'd suggest a black pickguard like the one I'm expecting would look good.
If you send Mike a photo of your guitar, he'll photoshop some ideas for you without you spending money ( I wish more people would offer it )
I quite like the look of a black humbucker ( the Duncan JB or Tyler Secret both sound amazing in the Silhouette Special ) and white singles.

I feel I should clarify that I'm absolutely NOT associated with Quickguards, I simply came across them when looking for a company to make me a pickguard for my Sil Special and move the position of the volume pot and liked the guy's product.
