Matching h/s - affirmative.
I don't know if every dealer will have the same pricing. I'm dealing with Pete (Dubaldo), and his price was a bit lower than I expected.

This offering is the best/only way to get an Albert Lee with a maple neck and ebony fret board. I bought for the Black Sugar run and I love the AL HH with this neck combination.

Really wish I personally had the $$ for something, I think it would be either an AL or a Silo, non-matching of course.

Can someone from EBMM confirm what the Body Wood is going to be?
I'm about to order a JP6 so I guess the Body will be Basswood?

Couple questions if anyone knows the answer...

SS frets - are they the size that normally comes with the respective model or all the same size (jumbo) regardless of the model like the Neptune run?

For an Axis, will the back be black or the Starry Night finish and will it still have binding?

They will all be the same size, like the neptune run. The back of the Axis and Y2D will be black.

Anyone catch the main body wood selection? PDN traditionally Mahogany... But I try not to assume things.

Body wood will be consistent with what the instrument normally is.

Basswood for the JP6.

This is the main reason I'm ordering one of these. Wanted an HH with maple neck since my first HHAL...
The fact that this finish looks friggin awesome is a close second....:)

Yah man, I totally agree, but for me negative cash flow is gonna hurt so badly. I've thought about selling something I have, just not 100% what I have I'd wanna part with. Plus, I suck, all these years and can still barely play, find it hard to justify the expense.

Can't want to see it when you get it!!!!

Ok!

I'm pulling the trigger on an Albert Lee HH.

I'll buy it from Pete DuBaldo who is the nicest guy ever.

BUT I NEED YOUR INPUT. Matching or non matching headstock? I really don't know...

I don't think you can since your not in the US, unless they changed the rule. Better check into it.

I think that matching versus non-matching is really a huge personal preference. As most know I prefer non-matching, but that's juts me. My AL HH Black Sugar is non-matching and I think it's perfect that way. Do a Google image search and decide for yourself.

Good luck, Glenn |B)

Glenn, he is coming to visit the US this fall!

I tend to prefer matching, but it's always nice to show off the roasted maple with a natural headstock

My PDN 2012 is matching and I love it....

Yeah, but the PDN 2012 finish matches/blends really well with the roasted maple. For a darker finish I would go non matching. Like Glenn said it looks real good on the black sugar models. But hey, it's your choice! I want an AL HH too.. But I might go for a Stingray, depending on the EU pricing. First have to sell something, or it's a no go..

Pete, your PM box is full. Can you PM me quote for an AXIS w/ matching HS?
