Pete DuBaldo sells a "nos" AL DD1 MM90 that I'd have bought on the first day I saw it (my ultimate dream) ... had it been equiped with a trem!

I begged MM to consider building a ALMM90 PDN 2016, as it's the one I'm missing, but they refused. I was disapointed though I understand and respect the way they run their business.

Yet I ordered a AL HH PDN 2016 matching headstock that should be GLORIOUS!!!

Yup, I'm anti-matching headstock, hence the reason I never moved on the one that Pete has, and it's a bit pricing for me.

You will not be disappointed at all. Nice choice!!!

Hesitated a while about (non) matching.

I was never found of natural mapple headstock with "brownish" fretboard. Too many colours... ;)

I could cope with it thought. What I really HATE is matching with mapple fretboard. But that's just my (bad) taste : )
 
Well, looks like I will be ordering a PDN Music Man this weekend! I'm gravitating towards a Stingray non matching headstock. I also want a Cutlass, but to me the PDN package suits the Stingray way better.

Looking forward to the roasted neck with the ebony fretboard. Same as my AL HH, only that one has a finished neck. Also, the more I look at the Starry Night finish, the more I love it!
 
Can't wait!! I was really wanting a James Valentine and now with this, it's too much to resist. Ordered!

during the neptune PDN they put up some pictures of some more samples as they were being built, so hopefully we'll see more pictures before the order window closes.
