I am bummed they're not offering this run on a JPX. I've always wanted one of those without the shield inlays. I'll have to appease myself with a Y2D.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrreat-looking axe, congrats !!!! (although I'm not into JP models)

Won't "starry night" be little more "blue-ish"?

I don't see the burst in that pic... ??

edit- I think the OP meant that 'kinda' looks like SN...maybe??? On second look (on a big screen...) that's obviously not the new PDN...

That doesn't look like Starry Night. Still waiting for the day we can get some gold hardware and new colors on the JP anniversary models.

Well, looks like I will be ordering a PDN Music Man this weekend! I'm gravitating towards a Stingray non matching headstock. I also want a Cutlass, but to me the PDN package suits the Stingray way better.

Looking forward to the roasted neck with the ebony fretboard. Same as my AL HH, only that one has a finished neck. Also, the more I look at the Starry Night finish, the more I love it!

Given that I ordered a Cutlass, can I ask why you think the PDN package suits the Stingray better? The guitars are pretty similar - I'd kinda put them on par. Just curious...

Just personal preference, nothing more to it. Probably because I associate an ebony fretboard with humbuckers.. Plus I really like the standard Cutlass in vintage turquoise. So if I get one it will be in that finish.

Cool - as I said, I was just curious. I still think they'd both look cool in this scheme! Sounds like we both elected the natty headstock too!

Congrats!

I got a quote on a L3 and JP. Very tempted on either of those.

I sold my olive gold L3 because the fret size became annoying. I swore I'd grab another if I could get a pdn version with jumbos and the alder body/maple neck... hmmmmmmmm. 19 days to decide.

Are the frets jumbo on the L3? I love my L3 HH och Luke 2 HSS but this pdn run is really awesome so tempted to pull the trigger

Cool man, thanx very much, it did look lighter, but we haven't seen Starry Night outside either. Great color by the way, tell your buddy!!
