does anyone have a soundclip of a Sterling 5? I would love to hear it before I buy it.

That Ed Friedland fellow: Can he really be trusted?
I guess this really marks me as a traditionalist, but above all I really, really like the look of this:
Music Man Sterling5 HS, 5-String Electric Bass Guitar, Tobacco Sunburst Finish, Maple Fingerboard, White Pearloid Pickguard w/ Hardshell Case - Music Man Basses at Bass Emporium
I just finished a series of 10 sound samples of an HS Sterling 5 - fingerstyle and slap in all 5 positions. They'll be online after the Labor Day weekend on the Bass Emporium website under >resources>newsletters.
The Bass Emporium is a new EBMM dealer, and to mark the occasion, they've asked me to review the Sterling 5. I'll be spending a fair amount of time with this model, because I'll be doing a review/video for Guitar World soon too.
The review is out, folks; and Ed has made some wonderful tracks illustrating how the Sterling 5 sounds. I have GOT to get one of these basses. I fell in love with it at NAMM and have done so all over again after listening to Mr. Friedland's sound samples. Thanks so much, Ed!
