I'm looking at a used AX40 and am looking for opinions on them. Are they solid Rock guitars? Giggable? Are the pick-ups the same as the Axis? Anything to look for when buying used?
 
Ah, it's only the AX40D that has the Axis pick-ups it seems. And it only available in the Ruby red color. Leaning towards getting one.
 
I have not played one, but they sure look nice. I am sure someone will have some feedback for you that has one soon. Good luck with your purchase.
