Forgive a guitarist showing his face over here.
Used to play quite a lot of bass in function/covers bands and always used my trusty Jap Fender Jazz which I bought in '88 and which acquired EMGs 6 months later. Sounded fine & played fine, though I'm no connoisseur of bass tone.....I just go "Bump, Thud" in the background, generally while singing. It's still sitting over there on its stand
These days my bass is only used for home recording, though thinking of perhaps trying to organise a blues band.(Mid life crisis??)
I've seen one or two Sterlings for sale on The Bay.....and since I have more money than sense......etc etc.
No chance of trying one out as I'm leftward and live in Spain. Not about to pay a new Euro price & wait 6 months.
Anybody want to talk me into a purchase and run me through the advantages of the Sterling? I know from my Silhouette that EBMM quality is top notch
