Those anniversary 5ers are really something...we didnt sell that many of them so they may actually be significant to somebody someday

I think they're pretty significant to a few people already! :D

Those are some seriously kick-ass basses, BP. Mine still scares the Bongos.

Each of my Stingrays is already significant to me. I'll bet everyone on this site can recite in numbing detail the circumstances under which they acquired each of their EBMM gems.

See what you started?

Phatty, yours is truly beautiful. My wife actually saw yours and asked when I was ordering one of those! Now she never says that, rather that I have too many basses. That should tell you how beautiful that beast is!
By beast i hope you mean the bass and not your wife! :D

Mine is very significant to me. I feel lucky to have gotten what I consider a BFR top since I ordered it sight unseen from Corner in Nashville.

And on that note...it looks like the SR5 is coming off the wall and the Bongo will be staying home this weekend...

If it were flames or quilt, it gotta be flames. But sparkles beat flames every time!

But that green sterling is HOT.

Significant to me, and I haven't even owned one yet. First EBMM production (though limited) bass with the Mahogany tone block, if I'm not mistaken. Not to mention the tweaked EQ and being drop dead gorgeous.

I read on another site that in the HS configuration, the single coil pu uses different magnets, is this true?
Tks

I don't really bond with the quilts, I'm totally a flame guy. All those posted are gorgeous, if I had a job and no superior education in the future to pay for, I'd have one of those already!
