Hi everyone. Thought I would post here as I'm having a problem upgrading my new Sterling Cutlass Short Scale.
Everything is coming along fine except for one thing: The tremolo plate is not hardened steel and I'm having trouble finding a suitable 2-point replacement (with a hardened plate of course). String spacing is 1-1/16" (52.5mm). That's not the problem, it's the post spacing. I measured the post spacing and it appears to be 52-54mm. The narrowest spacing I can seem to find is 56mm (Gotoh 510 series and a couple other, less-desirable options).
Anybody have any ideas here?
Thanks!
