Here's my lefty fretless! Lots of growl and she plays like butter!

Thanks, I see you have a True Gold Sterling, which must me something else. One of the best colors ever!

Thanks, it is a great color, and the Rosewood neck is sick, I have a Tort guard ordered that I can't wait to throw on. It has a Vintage Pearl now which works also, but I think it's begging for a Tort.

wow......that trans red is freakin' beauty.........

even if it is a backwards bass.

:D
+1 on it's a looker but far be it for me to say it's backwards as I'm a lefty who plays righty, but when I was a drummer I played lefty.

Rocked the hell out of my Sterling HH today. Loved all the different positions. Man the differences in tone to nail the covers I'm looking for is fantastic. Just the perfect bass. I'd have to REALLY A\B vs a Reflex HH to see if that would unseat my Sterling but I've never had the chance

I have compared the Sterling to the Big Al, Bongo & Reflex HSS & they just dont beat my Sterling HH. Yeah the other basses sound great but its so damn easy to get the right tones with the position switch. Often I just barely have to touch the EQ which makes it so easy to go back to where I was.

Love it

Looking through this thread makes me miss my Sterling 5 HH...As much as I love my Bongo 6 and 4 string Jazz there's something about 5ers...it just screams metal to me for whatever reason.

Well my Bongo and J beat the crap out of my Sterling...which also wasnt even close and was also why I sold it! :D

Still kind of miss it though. Loved the feel of the neck.

I'm getting my old Sterling 5 HH back. NAMM bass that has a beautiful flamed maple neck and fretboard. I really missed it!

b-unit, can you tell me about your ceramic SR5 compared to alnico SR5 and sterling. What bass will be closer to it's sound?

Sterling is the one. I went through rays and Bongos of all configurations - landed with the keeper. A Sterling H. Done.
