I've had some semi tuning issues with the use of the vintage trem. Only on the low E, which I figured was binding at the nut.

Just wondering if it'd be worth putting in some Sperzel (reversable) locking tuners. What kind of reputation do the tuners have that Sterling use? Are they decent or are they a big weak point?

I have a MIM strat that has non locking vintage tuners and it stays in tune 100% by itself without any fancy things. Are the Sterling tuners a weak point? Or adequate?
