Hey,

I have a Luke music man guitar and love it, however I have had very noticable issues with fret buzz mainly on the G string and more specifically on the 2nd frets and 14th fret both A notes, but it also continues a bit to the 19th fret.

It is the second neck on the guitar which has been replaced by the manufacturer/dealer and the first neck had the same issue. I have the action raised higher than normal and have had two experts adjust the truss rod to eliminate the problem but have not been able to do so. One suggested it was "fret rattle" rather than buzz but are not dead spots.

Has anyone come accross this before in the last two years on this model? And can anybody help?

Hi,
The problem is I live in London and I believe Music Man is based in the US, unless you know a contact here in the UK?

Stew, Strings & Things is the distributor for EBMM in the UK. You should get in touch with them. Either they or EBMM customer service will be in a position to evaluate what's going on and see if it's a setup or a warranty issue.

FYI, the forum isn't meant as a place to discuss customer service issues, so best to take it up with those parties- thanks.

You know, after reading this again, I would say that if two necks have resulted in the exact same symptoms on this guitar, then the problem is probably something other than the neck.

Ok guys, as BP said ... if it's under warranty contact your local dealer/distributor. You know you'll be taken care of.
