I want to buy a Steve Morse Y2d, standard bridge, maple top. Please contact me if you have one. Need to see pics!
A BFR Y2D would be awesome!!!Col, fantastic Y2Ds.![]()
Ponch, I don't know where you're going to be able to try a Y2D, but they are incredible guitars. And, yes, you must try one!
one piece top, flamed maple neck?i wonder how they'd make the Y2D more spectacular for a BFR? pretty awesome as it is!
gosh.. very cool guitar ! i really want to try it, I hope I can find this guitar at the nearest Guitar Center![]()
trust me even if you had never played one before and ordered one, you wouldn't regret it.I want to try one too, but Guitar Center near me only has 2 Axis's. Any other EBMM would require a special order, paid in advance.![]()

wouldn't any MM with an upgraded top be considered a precursor? The Y2D is an anniversary of 20 yearsAgreed. I always thought the Y2D was the precursor to the actual BFR line. They are spectacular to behold. Got to get to play one someday. Man they are pretty!![]()

they both have different strings on them and that is the only difference in sound. I play them both, but the non matching is the one I reach for first. Not sure which way I'll lean in string choice, I'll have to ask Fred what he had on it first...hey Colin, which of your Y2D's do you prefer? are they any different to you at all?
