Yeah, I am really intrigued. Any chance we can get a video of Steve explaining how it works and walking us through this? Or Dudley? I have always wondered what it would be like for Steve to follow JP from Ibz to EBMM -- this gives a cool glimpse! Really interested in more info!

NO here is the deal...out of respect for Steve and Ibanez we didnt take any videos or have any plans other than to tell you that Steve asked us to build it and we did. Steve Vai is a dear personal friend and a super treasured Ernie Ball artist.

Ibanez is rather well known for not going truly custom with artist guitars. Thus, why so many endorsees have jumped ship to other brands... JP being one. There are other current Ibanez artists who have commissioned one-off guitars from other builders for that reason.

Very cool. Interesting interview and album concept from Steve and great to see this very unique and special contribution by EBMM. It's really interesting to see these types of things pop up as it gives us a tiny insight into a side of EBMM that most of us will never see otherwise. Also...gotta like the fretless Bongo at 3:05.
