Yeah, man.. there's a for sale thread, but it's generally frowned upon if your first few posts are about selling an instrument. Stick around, get a feel for the joint and let us get to know you a bit before you put an instrument up for sale.
To answer your question, though.. yes.. you can do that here.

Question: Is this a good forum for pre-EBMM's? I'm new here, have an old Leo Fender MM Stingray II I may want to trade or sell, but don't want to jump in to the wrong place here. Thanks, DW
Meanwhile, can we see some pics of that old MM?![]()
Is this what your'e talking about?

Very cool! Yeah, mine is a natural finish-, and a Stingray, not a Sabre- I'll take some digital pics to share and try to have them up by tomorrow. Leo was the man! I was checking out some old Jazzmasters recently, and remembered a model that never went into production back in the 60's- it was called the Marauder, and had the pickups hidden under the pickguard- very clean look, but for some reason never went into production. Maybe it was in the timeframe when Leo was negotiating the sale of Fender to CBS- I dunno. Anyway, if any of the prototypes made it into private hands, it would be quite a collectors item- anyone know any history here? (I guess I'm really dating myself by even asking this question!) Thanks- great site! Wish I'd found it sooner! DW![]()
