Guys,

We have been through this all before on a thread a couple of months ago.

For those that missed it, my recommendation is to visit your local liqour store (beer mart or what ever you call an "off licence") and see if they sell Grolsch Beer in bottles. The tops of the bottles have a rubber seal with a hole in the middle which is perfect for a cheap and reliable strap lock.

And if you lose it, hell buy more beer!

That would be me. Tried Schaller & Dunlop but couldn't deal with the metal on metal contact/feel. I also suffer adverse reactions to fingernails on chaulkboards.

I think Franklin Leather Straps are awesome; a bit pricey but very supple and wide:
