I ve been going into this shop and trying the SUB1 line for quite some time, and I tried, really tried to find a dog....but I couldnt.
I could not believe it. Appearance wise, they r not my cup of tea but sound wise they r great guitars. Not to mention feel...tho the neck could be a bit beefier up top.Nevermind.
What I wanted to know is, what up wth that new nut design? Is it something int the Earvana territory, meaning, to help with the tuning or is it just a thing that looks cool and gives you problems replacing it, once worn out, hahahaha!
Also, I was totally surprised with the electronics and the trem.Very clear sounding very defined. The trem was really functional and holds tune well. Also,
what kind of locking tuners r those used on the SUB1 line?
One last question...
the MM site and my exprience so far has shown me hat SUB1 MM axes come with chrome metal pguards, yet, the las tim I visited the shop I saw one Sub guitar with a regular plastic guard
Is this something new?
thanx a lot
