a modified Maddox pic! woooo!

I had a feeling you were a cool guy... :p

@ muzikman: To my eyes, a solid colored pickguard is best on SUB's (white, black, etc.).

And also, to offset any perceived negativity about the SUB in this thread, take a look at my sig... which one of them is for sale? ;)

 Now that's what I call "SUB1 TRIBUTE" :D Good on you man!

It's the truth man. I can't take anything at all away from the Silo; it's an incredible instrument. Plays like a dream, sounds great, and it's beautiful to boot. But, the SUB never fails to call me back.

I actually prefer the choice of wood and pickups better in the SUB.

Hey guys! I just change the pickups of my Sub to Sduncans Custom-custom and Jazz! Put coiltap on it. Sounds AMAZING that even my bandmates are enjoying!

Subs Rule!

Blackmore - respectfully, I think in the long run you're going to realize that the Sub 1 blows away alot more than what you mentioned. Like top notch 7enders and gipsons costing many hundreds of dollars more. And many more.
Blows many Ivanezes too. the sub one is just a very well made guitar, great materials, great pickups, great hardware, 1st class all the way, a tribute to Big Poppa and his great company (employees). My blackie Sub Special, in the picture a few posts back is my #1 guitar. I don't like to say it.... but it eats my Al's for lunch.

And you can take that to the bank. ;)

Everytime I find a SUB somehwere it's always a hard tail, which is a deal breaker for me. Someday I'll walk into a store and there'll be a nice trem SUB... someday.

(Two weeks ago I was in Daddy's Junky and a 2 pickup trem SUB had just been put on layaway and pulled to the back room. If only I'd gone a day earlier  )

Sticky - your Motrucci is really a great work of art man! Very nicely done. I think that's the 1st EBMM guitar I actually like that pickguard on. :) You got me thinking bro...
