I love that color and sold a Strat in August that had the same transformation. But I will give the credit to cigarette smoke lol, as I am at my worst lighting up when playing.I really have to kick the habit, but I cant stand those for sale listings - guitar has been kept in my smoke free apartment or house which seem to be the rage. Would anyone really not by a guitar they have been searching for because the guys smokes?

As a lifelong non-smoker I loathe the smell, but it's fairly pointless making a fuss about a guitar being from a non-smoking home. One night in a Spanish bar will have it reeking like 100 ashtrays. Anyway, while cigarette smoke is very bad for humans, it has been scientifically proven to be very good for guitars, especially white ones!

Yeh mate. Lovin the transform and the 3 tracks pups. May need to try one of those. What do you have in the neck?

J

Cruiser Neck - Neck
Cruiser Neck - Middle
Pro-Track - Bridge
RS Guitarworks 0.22uf Polyproplene GuitarCap
RS Guitarworks 500k Special Taper Brass Shaft Volume Pot
CTS 500k Audio Taper Tone Pot

This thing now does everything from a Strat to a Les Paul. Convincingly. (except the Les Paul neck tone), but it's got a VERY convincing Les Paul middle and bridge tone, while the position 2 and 4s are very very strat-like. After almost 3 years of owning this, it is STILL my go-to guitar for any impromptu jams or gigs. I don't need another guitar with this, except a duplicate (in the works) as a back up.

but i'm curious what the picture would look like if you removed the pickguard

Good question. Can I say... Tan lines?:D
