My head is still spinning after an awesome weekend. I’m finally getting a chance to get in front of a computer after my red-eye from Palm Springs last night. BP, there is nothing more I can add except thanks for another great weekend for us knuckleheads. Every year seems to get better if that is even possible.

I really can’t get my head around the amount of detail that went into the planning and execution of a weekend on this scale. I only see the end result with the folks out front that we can see and talk to. For everyone behind the scenes that helped pull this off, THANK YOU! I wish I had had a chance to say it to you personally. For those that I was able to meet and talk to, thanks for making us feel like a part of the family. I know that everyone involved sacrificed a lot of time and effort to make this such a success. I’m still shaking my head at the amount of thought that went into the details for this weekend, the string packs and picks are just a small visible reminder but so incredibly meaningful.

BP, Scott, Brian, Casey, Beth, Jody, Chewie, Nicole, Kevin, Drew, Dudley, Aziah, Jon, words can’t express the thanks!

I really enjoy getting together and talking with everyone I’ve met from attending these bashes. Doug & Amy, Pete, Nick, Rob, Frank & Kathy, Beej, Janice, Glenn & Wendy, MikeVT & his wife, Colin, Dave, Tom & Violet, Keith, Phatty, Stanky, Adouglas, Bassmonkey & his wife, Midopa, Chuck Ward, Koogie, Jack, Don & Wendy, Anthony & Angela, NorM, Darryl, Oddjob, Ben, Tyler, Tkarter, Scott, Pug, Eggman, Henry, Spectre, Capt. Don & his wife. It was great to see old faces and meet others for the first time.

Colin, it was great to finally be able to hang out and talk to you and your brother, you are absolutely one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met. I didn’t think I was going to catch my breath Thursday night at the pool.

To the artists who gave up their personal time to be here, thanks for overlooking our fanboy stares and stupid questions and making us feel like friends. Luke, you rock! Thanks for the shot. Steve, Dave LaRue, John Ferraro, Tony Levin, Jimmy Cox, Dave Marrota, Cliff Hugo, consummate professionals one and all.

thanks,
fred
(see that just doesn't seem to cut it...)

Fred's a class act!

Well said Fred!

And I am sure it represents what a lot of folks are thinking!

My wife and I had the pleasure of Fred's company - he's a great guy!

I couldn't resist including a picture of Fred with his BFR Luke
- signed by the man himself!

I agree with everything that has been said here also..somehow "thank you" just doesn't seem to cut it...How about next year we all chip in and buy BP a '67 Chevelle convertible with a fuel system that ISN'T leaking! -Capt. Are you kidding me? It was incredible. In fact the food both nights was one of the highlights of the trip for me, although "dstockden" and other vegans might disagree! ;)

Believe me I can appreciate the amount of time and effort that goes into feeding that many people good BBQ and I made sure that I told them that. In fact I have to admit since I was busted by Jack, that I skipped the soundcheck and waited until the last factory tour to talk shop with the guy running the smoker. We were discussing smoking wood rather than tone wood although we both agreed that if you had any scrap mahogany laying around we like to give it a shot! :D
