Personally, I could not do a mod like that...I am not that gifted. However, looks good from here. You already know what changes you want to make and the cool part of all this....it is yours and you made it to the way you wanted it. Nothing wrong with that.

My only suggestion as someone mentioned, black out the pup cavity....

Nice job - I agree with the others about the pickguard. Going back to tort would be a better look. The only other comment I would make would be for the possibility of pup covers. Could just be me, but I think the two sets of exposed pole pieces looks a tad off. The Dweezil and Blues Saraceno ALs with buckers both have covers I believe, and look a bit more polished.

Update us when you've got your final version set.

Thanks Koogie and mb,
when I change the bridge p-up to an F-spaced virtual hot PAF
I'm gonna mix up some epoxy resin and coat the new cavity.
I, like everyone else, am not digging on the black guard either.
HOWEVER!! I did get in a pretty sheet of tortoise material today
so the new guard is finally in the works( YAHOOOOOOOO!!)
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!! I hope to have
new pics up soon!!

I was thinking the very same thing.
