Lucky you don't have hairy legs, Chuck. The first and only time I wore shorts in China I had a crowd following me down the street, trying to grab hairs from my legs. I'm not a hairy guy by any stretch of the imagination, but a pale red haired devil with a big nose was a mobile tourist attraction in China back the early 1990s.

Hey! The only thing I worried about if they lost my luggage was the loss of my ten new pair of 100% cotton Wigwam socks!

We are in Guilin now, in the southern part of China. Here are a couple of shots from the Li River cruise. And yes I'm wearing my fine white socks.

I also just had a cheese burger... life is good, well right now anyway.

Sorry I haven't answered your questions, I've had very little time and painfully slow internet connections, it took 45 minutes to upload the last pictures.

I'm sick as a dog, sore throat, fever and feel like crap, doing better today though.
