...Is plain awesome. Must buy. My favourites are 'Hydra' and the solo of 'Wings of time'. Great Music Man exposure too, quite a few headstock closeups :D

Kinda miss Bobby on powersongs like 'Falling in between' but that's just me. This band never sounded tighter to me than they sound now. You can hear they're having tremendous fun on stage and they're all in good health.

And Lucious, just WOW.

That's all.

Now, what if I told you that...I was there? :) Being Polish sometimes has some advantages :)
And yes, the SHOW was absolutely fantastic.
Got my copy too but can't find myself in the video. Well so far, cuz I'm gonna spend some proper time on it!

Can you please post what guitars Luke used on the DVD ? :)

As far as I remember:
  • The L III Sammy-guitar
  • The olive gold L III HSS with the roasted maple neck
  • The true gold Luke II with a maple neck
  • A Bodhi blue L III HH
  • A pearl blue Luke I reissue

I think that was it...
May have to take another look at the video ;-)

I'd agree with that.
It was nice to see the Luke's I & II getting an outing. They all sounded great (even more so in the right hands of course!)

This BluRay is awesome! I saw them live in Heerhugowaard in 2010 and this recording captures the same energy, chemistry and musicianship that I witnessed that fantastic night. We Toto nuts have had to wait a LONG time for a new Toto live release, but it was definitely worth the wait!

Finally got mine after waiting almost three weeks from the date they shipped it until the day it arrived. A great show! I think Live in Amsterdam was better BUT I was tickled pink to see Steve Porcaro again, and Joseph Williams sang much better than I expected him to.

However, the big surprise for me was seeing the EMG Lukes come out, especially the Luke 1.

This DVD has got me thinking about a Luke 3 now.

Do it James! Just stay away from the island heavy vocal falsetto infatuation.
Hope all is well.

I took my son to see this show in Kettering Ohio. A very small and intimate place. It was like a stage in the park in the middle of a residential condo's complex. Did the meet and greet....What a great show!

Hi Keith!
Hehe, have no fear. I'd need a tank full of helium to do that stuff!

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a PDN Luke 2. I've been missing those SLVs off and on for a number of years now. Watching "Wings of Time" again on the Poland DVD helped me make up my mind on Luke 2 vs Luke 3.

"Wings of Time", by the way, is one of my favorite Toto songs. When I went to LA in 2008 to see Luke on his Ever Changing Times tour, he played "Wings of Time". I was not expecting him to do any Toto songs at all, so I nearly fell out of my chair when the song began and I heard those first two chords. Almost brought tears to my eyes...

Do it James! Just stay away from the island heavy vocal falsetto infatuation.
Hope all is well.

Amazon has a 3-disk Blu Ray for $105. What is that about compared to the regular one?

Does anybody know whether the sound on the Blu Ray is properly engineered or do you have to buy the CD?

Dunno about that expensive edition, but bluray has PCM stereo setting in audio menu, sonds like a regular CD.
It also has dts option that sounds mindblowing ;)

None of the encoder types really matter, they are all good enough.

I have a whole bunch of music DVDs/BluRays where the mastering of the audio or other quality measures are screwed up on the Blu Ray.

It often isn't the same processing that has been done for the CD on one hand and the video disks on the other hand.

I'm asking whether somebody specifically knows whether the audio tracks are identical (not counting encoder type).
