2013/3/7 Music Man Customer Service <[email protected]>
Hello,

Thanks for your interest in Music Man!

Unfortunately we do not give out production numbers, they were not produced in limited.

All rosewood neck BFR basses were not produced in limited?

And a comment about price I've asked to - "USA price would have been $2800 retail, About $1950 would be the street price or what stores would have sold it for in USA"

Pardon my poor eRglish but what was the price for a private person who wanted to buy this bass in a store that days? 2800 or 1950?) Just want to know if the deal that was offered to me is fair. Thx for your response in advance!

"List" is what the Pentagon pays. Actually, "List plus installation".
Your "private person" [aka man-in-the-street] paid "Street Price".
The basses were not actually sold "in-the-street". Thaz just lingo.
We don't include a VAT or such. Most localities do add a Sales Tax,
ususally less tan 10%. This is a transaction tax, not a VAT, so it's
never considered to be an integral part of The Price of the Goods.

You cannot compare the US market to the international market. Even with VAT and such, there is a lot more overhead involved, and also it's a different market.

Yes it's different but all the difference is "take US price and add X dollars over the top to sell here". To know about USA pricing is enough for me.

Hi guys! Got some questions again.

1) Ernie Ball Music Man Factory Tour part 1 - YouTube - 2011 video from the factory. And they're showin' all rosewood neck pieces. Was not it 2009 ltd. option?

2) The bass arrival is delaying for some reasons but I've spoken to the seller to clarify the price he wants for it. So I can manage my budget before it will be here. He asked 1850$ for it now. How it sounds to you? Talking about East Europe region.
