:D

It's the end of a very long week, and I'm about ready to go home and get mentally prepared to see Tony Levin tomorrow. This probably will involve some Sam Adams. Maybe that'll take my mind off the anticipation of getting my first new bass in several years.

Yah. Right.

The worst bit of all? Because of the way UPS delivers, the bass will be ON THE TRUCK during the morning delivery cycle, but it won't actually get dropped off until the very end of the day. Grrrrr...

Probably a good thing. I wouldn't get any work at all done with it sitting in my office.

One more day.

If you want to feel better, mine was ordered today. 8 weeks to go!

Yeah, but you've GOT most of the Bongo production from the last two years in your basement to play with, not to mention the second-schweetest Bongo in existence.

I've got a set of Straploks and a screwdriver on my desk at work, waiting for delivery. And I'll be taking my camera to the office, as well...if all goes well, expect photos tomorrow afternoon. Better photos to follow once the fall colors arrive and I find the perfect spot. Think blazing New England fall foliage setting off a Desert Gold Bongo, with late afternoon light.... I'm gonna make all you fence-sitters suffer, oh yes I will.

Tomorrow evening is a forced band practice. My guitarist would lynch me if I didn't head straight over there lickety-split. Like I need convincing.

You have no idea how hard it has been for me to wait. I can't imagine 8 - 12 weeks. Completely unthinkable.
