Nope, but it has a nice horse hair on the back, so it must be patented, since it greatly increases the access to the upper frets...

Or wait, is it stallion like in "Italian Stallion"? Now I finally get it why the DT guys made their "the exaggerater" comment on the Live in Tokyo Vid from 1992. But what form might it be then - if it is what I think, You should really be using pillow over it most of the time, since it probably is rated 18+. However, that explains the best possible upper fret access at once.
