He came out during a Primus show at Cow Palace that I was at once, what a trip. I got my pic taken with him and Bootsy Collins at NAMM the football year. :)

I was there that year!

One of the related videos on that site is of him playing Hendrix's "machine gun". Absolutely incredible...

...although this guy is beyond freaky weird...quite disturbed more like!

That first video actually came off the latest Guitar One magazine CD ROM. It's actually cool that someone posted it because on the ROM you have no choice but to listen to him talk on the puppet inbetween licks. They didn't edit it properly.

At least now I can scrub past the stupid puppet. :D The guy is amazing, for sure. Too bad he acts like such an idiot. :)

BTW, I am convinced that clipping from jeffery is Buckethead. The influcences listed (especially Shawn Lane) match up exactly. I have heard before that he was supposedly Brian Carroll. Pretty cool to actually know who is probably is. ;)

Here is the house he lived in that is referenced in the article: Buckethead's old house Somebody from Cali ought to drive over there and ask his parents where to find him for an auotgraph. :D

I think he's Bill Gates

I guess this means there's NO chance he'll ever pick up an EBMM then...;)

I suppose the KFC bucket could come in handy....no need for fast fret, finger ease, etc. He's got an endless supply of chicken grease to make his fingers fly! ;)

Click on the 3rd video down in the list (the one with the flying V) and you'll see who Buckethead is....Chet Atkins. Chet ain't dead, he's Buckethead. I guess he just wanted to take on a lower profile while tapping into his metal roots.

I THINK I have nearly everything he's ever recorded.

it's easy to get confused by the "psycho killer" act, but be not fooled! buckethead is the real deal. I've seen him live in tokyo and I coulden't bring myself to pick up my guitar for a week.

now if he'll just start playing MM's....

He's too weird for MMs in my opinion. I prefer him to stick with his white ugly Gibson (not that I dont like Gibsons, just not that "thing"), and keep him away from me for priests sake. He seems to be a pretty freakin good technical player, but I personally dont like what he plays or the way he puts on an act. I stick to Morse, V Moore, Satch and such. I dont trust people who's face I cant see :p .
