That is a beauty of an amp.....!!!!
What great attention to detail!

What's the difference between full power and tweed power?

Per the Mark IV manual:
Use FULL POWER for maximum volume and clean headroom. TWEED POWER works like a built-in variac, reducing all the internal voltages for a spongy, vintage feeling and an extraordinary "brown sound".

POWER is reduced somewhat too, making it easier to achieve a big overdriven power sound, especially when TWEED POWER is used in conjunction with Class A power...Another virtue of TWEED POWER is that the lowered voltages will greatly extend tube life and overall reliability, while still producing enough pwer to work many of your gigs...and all of your recording sessions!

Probably about 50 lbs./22.7kg.

Hey..I went this morning to do some sound clips on the Mark IV, and it was sold....it didn't make it a week....we're going to order more.

I think I might get the MARK IV short head for my live rig....anyone else here using one with an axis???/

Actually, It was hard to tell...I didn't have another MARK IV beside it to compare...all I know is that it was a huge, fat, sweet sound on the overdriven and clean sounds...this amp is a pedal killer. All you need is maybe a nice delay and you're set.

My Axis and the 2007LE Albert Lee model we have in the store gets amazing punch....the guy that bought the amp is a PRS player, but he wanted to buy my axis, too. (Sorry, sir....not THIS one) He may end up ordering a Black Cherry Burst Axis super sport (YUMMMMM)
