SLO!! SLO!! SLO!! ... just think of all the cool goodies we would get to see in SLO ... one offs, protos, etc.
And best of all, we will get to meet all the other great and talented EBMM employees that would not be able to attend a far away gathering.

I know. Don't remind me.
I was very close to getting to Pete's Pusm Fest. My wife told me I had to go and the whole bit. It was just too close to Christmas and I couldn't get away from work.

Pete still has these late friday nights...but they're very poorly attended

Scotland and you can play lots of golf on REAL courses, and DD owners can compare the shades of greens....

YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!

Failing that, somewhere in europe, come and see the world, take the family on a cruise.... and meet up with some knuckleheads this side of the that big old puddle.....

every hopeful....

I'll admit I'm biased living in a Chicago suburb, but it's a justifiable destination for several reasons:

1. Easy to get to flying. I can't imagine that most people couldn't get on a plane and get off in Chicago without having to change planes. One flight, up, down, and you're here.

2. Plenty of hotel space, world class restaurants, and lots of things to do should people want to get out during the day (Museum of Science and Industry, Shedd Aquarium, Art Museum, Chicago Symphony, Millenium Park, Sears Tower, John Hancock building . . . I think you get the idea).

3. Several great EMBB dealers, including Make 'N Music. Not to mention some GCs, two of which were one of the first to get the JP BFRs.

The only caveat to this is if it's going to be Chicago, it should be soon. While one could still do all the above in winter, being here while the weather is warm (warmer?) would be ideal.

We can bring our wives to this shindig right?

Being from the deep South of course makes NOLA (my home away from home) & Nashville attractive to me. NOLA is not for the timid...we party hardcore down there and have the beads to prove it! :p

Of course I wouldn't pass up a chance to visit CA, never been. That's why I asked about the wife...she says no way I am going to CA without her!

I'm going to try and pimp myself out to raise some cash. A BFR and this party are going to hurt but will be worth every penny. :D
