This forum is fantastic, helping people and caring so much.

BP I know you do not do any of this for any alternate purpose just the goodness of your heart but you do deserve praise for you spirit, kindness and genorosity, I am proud to be part of this family.

OK here is my deal.....

Every bass player that gives $100. gets three sets of Slinky Bass strings...(four string sets)
Every guitarist gets a dozen sets of 6 string Slinkys and an Music Man Hat...

Lets see how we do here....Lets see how much we can raise....If we exceed the $5,000.00 we will donate the excess to the relay for life in JDawgs area.....

Sound good?

We get sidetracked in life and on this forum by some clueless people....acts such as this show that there is a heart beating and sincere desire to help......

Now I have to twist the export distributors to participate!

I am very proud to be involved with all of you.

Wow,

Thank you again BP for offering that. And again, thank you everyone who has helped or even simply kept us in your thoughts and prayers. We are truly touched!

Wow guys! I haven't been able to log in because I went to visit my folks. This is amazing. To everyone who has commented and contributed, thank you for helping with this. To Big Poppa, THIS is just one of many reasons I respect you and will always play your instruments. I hope to meet you one day, you're a great man.

No brainer for me, I'm in and transaction sent. BP has put a generous offer on the table, and with greatest respect to BP, this has had no bearing on my decision. To me a good cause is a good cause - enough said.

JayDawg, I hope that the thoughts and small assistance from me (half a world away outside of Melbourne, Australia) and others all around the world are enough to help you and your family take the next step and focus your energy on the future. Positive thoughts from this corner of the globe.
Cheers

Hey BP,

Since my wife is now on the Relay for Life Committee, and our church ended up closing it's doors last year which was also our main team for our Relay for Life, with your permission, could I call the team that I am going to Captain this year the Ernie Ball/Music Man team? We don't need anything from you but I would sure like to help advertise your company any way that I can because you have been such a blessing to my family. I already have people that will be joining the team but it would be cool to also honor your company with what you have done for us.

Money sent JayDawg!

Although this is my first post, I've been with this community for quite some time. Just seemed like the best time for me to finally chime in.

I wish you and the family all the best!

When I told my friends the story that is unfolding right here before us, they didn't believe me...but here it is, the kind hearts of the Musicman community pouring fourth! Mr. Musashi, your offer is very generous, and the fact that I'm getting a new ray in less than a week makes it even more tempting, but I must humbly decline. Keep the strings and play them 'til the cores unwind! The old man was able to come through with funds for (both) of my mother's surgeries, luckily. Reconstruction is the last step but it looks like we'll be able to make that one, too. Mom's a tough old bird. To Jaydawg, looks to me like you and your wife are at the last stretch...and it looks like you'll have the help to get you to the finish line!

Screw Cancer!

You got $100 bucks bro

1. Whats the odds we BOTH have a wife named Rochelle?

2. I like your website Jaydawg: Quads For Christ.

3. It wont stop me from saying Tebow sucks though (as a football player)

4. BP is a swell guy

5. I'm going to humbly jump start my dead car in the freezing cold after 8" of snow BEFORE Halloween. We all got our problems but they are trivial compared to news such as this. Wish yall the best.

In memory of my uncle who we lost to caner this past March and my dad who is a cancer survivor.

I wasn't able to hit the $100 mark, but I sent what I could. This community is fantastic and I am so happy to be a part of it.

jay I dont want to commercialize any of these sort of thinks...So I would prefer not to have the company name...I want you all to know that I never ever do anything to help others for personal or corporate gain....Most of what I do is annomous...a lot of you know thow...
'How about "Team Knuckleheads"

Please give us an update and maybe someone can tip the six stringers off on this......I want to be able to monitor the progress and make sure that we hit the goal

Team Knuckleheads it is then. I understand you not wanting to commercialize it BP but to everyone who has helped out, I wish there was something I could do to repay your kindness. Maybe not today but I know if a favor or help is ever needed down the road, I will do whatever I can. BP, if there is anything I can ever do for your company, please let me know. We are truly indebted to everyone on here.
