This place is just great. Fantastic thread and fantastic people. With that said..... ****ing ****! I´ve missed this thread completely! I´ve not had much time to visit the forum during the fall and pretty much up to now. Been restoring the apartment and working too much. I´ll keep my eyes open next time something like this is needed again. Well done all. A great bunch of people, indeed.

Damn....I wish I had come back around before the goal was reached - would have loved to help... 
(However, I am very glad the goal was reached quickly....)
Almost three years ago, I lost my beloved wife Julie to breast cancer. She was my best friend and co-conspirator, and a wonderful supporter of my music. When she passed, I created a memorial fund that is still active and raises money every year to help women with breast cancer seek out cutting edge treatment options. Several of the initial donations came from a different forum where I was pretty active.
I'd like to pay it back a bit here, if I could. If there is somewhere I can send a C-note that is appropriate, please let me know.

I am sorry to hear about your wife. Every year we have a relay for life team. If you want to donate to it, you can. I don't have the team stuff set up yet for this year but I will soon. If you would like, I could send you the info for our relay for life team. My wife was asked to be on the committee this year so I am doing a separate team that will be called "Team Knucklehead" in honor of everyone from this community who has helped us out.
