Travis Larson Band will be traveling to SXSW in Austin Texas to perform at the Texas Rock Festival for four days this month. On the way we'll be doing some performance/clinics in Las Vegas, Phoenix and San Antonio. This is our first time to Texas. If you're close to any of these shows, please come and rock out with us. :)

I talked to him at the Steve Morse show at the Coach House in January. He seems like a real nice guy. I told him that I had first heard of him from the Music Man forum . I also think he needs to play more LA dates - we've got so many places to play.

Would love to see them more in San Diego as well. They just kill with Georgia on my Mind.

Don't miss their DVD.

Would love to catch you guys! Alas I won't be anywhere near there ... hopefully the stars align at some point so I can catch a show.

Thanks for the inspiration!

I love your band! This is the second clip I've seen on this forum. Three-piece perfection; very inspiring.

Although we're part of a 5-piece band, the guitar player, the drummer, and I do a three-piece version of our band as well which we all enjoy immensely since we get to "stretch out." Last night was especially fun because David Muse who was a member of the band "Firefall" (who had several hits in the late 70's) sat-in with us on sax!

I have a mid-term at UNLV that ends a little while before this clinic starts, what a great way to unwind after a test.

I will definitely be there :D

Outstanding show last night here in Sin City. Incredibly tight band and really nice people too. I enjoyed the show and talking with both Travis and Jennifer. If you guys have the chance to see them, don't miss it !!

...plus there are some nice examples of Blue Dawn and Walnut Burst being used as well

Colin, well worth it to see them live. It's always nice to see a three piece that is really tight and into what they are playing. I could just be jaded by the acts here though, most of them are just going through the paces.

BTW, the Hard Rock is huge now, they tripled the size of the casino and it looks great (plenty of more space to display more memorabilia too)

Travis, I'll try to swing by tomorrow at 3pm. I actually had a surprise trip for the SXSW Festival with work at the ACC.

Also, a big thanks to Travis, Jennifer, and Dale for spending your entire afternoon hanging out and letting me tag along. You all are a class act.

Thanks for the pix! We had a great hang :)
Thanks also to all that came out to the shows. We had a great time in the Southwest. All I did after the shows was explain why our tones were so awesome compared with the other bands, haha. I don't need to do that here. You guys all know the deal... Love my MM babies.
