Just wanted to give some props to our friends Jennifer and Travis from the Travis Larson Band, Slo Ca. A track from their latest record Burn Season is being submitted for the Grammy nominations. A cover of "People Get Ready" with a guest spot from Steve Lukather is all instrumental version of the classic Curtis Mayfield tune

That's awesome!!! I've been listening to some of their things that you guys play on the Ernie Ball radio. I checked them out on their website and put both of their CDs on my wish list on Amazon. You coukd definatly hear Steve Morse's influence on Travis probably the most, as he also mentions that on his website. Anyway, I hope they GET the grammy, and prove to all those stupid pop people that playing instruments is the BEST!!!!

I went over a friend's house not long ago and he was playing some TLB, I had never heard them before. My first thought was 'when did the Steve Morse Band release a new record?' I coulda sworn it was Steve.

I don't know, I really thought he had his own sound, he certaintly doesn't shred like SM does, and his tone is different...maybe it was only those tunes that I heard...
