Hey Guys,

The UK Knucklehead Bash is now open to everyone in Europe so come on over and meet all your fellow forumites

It will be on Saturday June 14th at the London International Music Show in the evening from around 5 til 10 pm (Times to be confirmed).
There will be food and beer and a lots of music.

which is a better airport to fly into Stansted or Luton ?or does it matter ?

Both Stanstead and Luton are okay, so is Heathrow. But I guess all the cheaper flights don't go into Heathrow

stanstead is a hell of alot easier to get to/from than luton.... you can buy a return bus ticket for about 14 quid..... most ryanair flights fly in there.

For those people who do want to fly into Luton, you can get a train from Luton Airport Parkway station to the St Pancras (where Eurostar goes from now) terminal. From there you can get the Northern Line to Bank, and then the DLR to Custom House (Excel) which is the stop for the show. Obviously you may want to make a detour to hotels etc, but for anyone going to Luton, rest assured that it is VERY easy - I have to go there all the time for work

Stansted is also easy to get to/from by train. The train platforms are right below the terminal and take you straight into London (although you could come via Peterborough ) Then the route on the tube would be the same - except instead of getting the Northern Line to Bank, because you'd come into Liverpool Street, you'd get the Central Line to Bank instead.

Easy!

If anyone wants Gatwick and Heathrow instructions (Gatwick same as Luton into St Pancras, and Heathrow is SUPER easy) then let me know. I am a font of knowledge!
