Hello! I'm looking into buying a JP7 here locally and I'm just curious about what model it is.
The guitar comes with its original case and papers, also has a serial number on the bolt plate so I'm assuming it's a real MM. But I have never seen this model, it's a JP7 with the CrunchLab/LiquiFire, doesn't have the JP shield inlay on the first fret and it's a plain gloss black finish. I've only seen the stealth series kind of black on a JP7, so I'm a little lost since I seem to not find any others like it anywhere. If you think you can help but need pictures please email me @ [email protected]

I'm very interested in purchasing it but I'm a little anxious.
Thanks!

Looks like a pretty standard JP7 in black finish.

AFAIK, JP shield inlay on first fret only comes on guitars that have the JP inlay option. This one does not.

Yeah it looks like the black gloss finish, the stealth series comes in a matte finish. They still sell the gloss according to the mm website. If you could get a hold of the serial, post it in the serial number thread to find out if its legit and get the date it was made. Judging by the pic it looks legit with the correct case and candy. Good luck!
