Are you questioning the fact that it's fretless or the fact that it has lines?
I'm assuming you're questioning the lines, since fretless basses are not particularly controversial.
Some of the best bassists in the world play lined fretless basses. TL comes to mind.
I've seen purist arguments against lines, but IMHO it's silly. Kind of like asking a race car driver to choose shift points based on the sound of the engine, rather than providing a tachometer.
Purists who think lines are for wimps should also dispense with dots on the side of the neck. If a positioning reference in the form of a line that tells you where to put your finger is unacceptable, then a positioning reference in the form of a dot on the side of the neck should likewise be unacceptable, no?
Nooo wayyyy. I posted it so you all can save me from myself. Now let's see a little action, a hint of gratitude, fewer "if only"s, and that final post from one of you screaming "MINE!!!".Dr Stankface said:That thing is tempting guys. I just sold off 2 of my basses so I have the funds for it. Save me from myself!!![]()

My wife walked by and smacked me on the back of the head for just reading that... thanks!!!Golem said:"Why is a bass guitar like a wife?"
"The older you get, the heavier she gets."
