That is a VERY cool instrument! Pops, did you say there would be a 5ver version? Also, are you planning a pickguard or "au natural"?

how long is this going to be available?

If history provides us any lessons, it will be available to order as of NAMM in January and the order window will close once the production schedule fills to the point of the instruments not being deliverable in 2009.

In other words, if instruments ordered in, say, July are scheduled to be built/delivered in December, the order window will close about, oh, July.

(Not that July has any significance, just using it to illustrate the point.)

Because you wouldn't want 25th Anniversary instruments being delivered during the 26th year, right?

This is how it's gone in the past. I stand ready to be corrected if this is incorrect.

I know that BP has said there will be a 5 string version available, but I wonder if there's a prototype of one in existance yet? And better yet, photos of it. Oh be still my beating heart!

Of course BP said at one point that there would be the 25th anniversary version, and then after that they would offer a "regular" production version as a regular member of the stable.
