Hi Tony,

I am from Germany and just ordered a matching Axis H-H pickguard in white pearl for my plain black Axis Sport. It took around 4 weeks from payment to delivery. It matches perfectly and looks really neat. Now my guitar doesn't look like a metal axe any more.

My pickguard showed up today in the mail. They weren't kidding about it taking three weeks. I installed it just a few minutes ago.

So, here's the before:

Now THATS what I'm talkin' 'bout!!!
Looks fine! (I'm glad EBMM didn't cut corners and the Axis looks as good with the guard off as any other Axis!)

That looks fantastic!!

I have exactly the same coloured Axis Sport in SSS. I'm going home to see what it looks like under the pickguard to do exactly the same thing. Show off that beautiful trans blue finished wood!!!

Thanks guys!

My one funny point is that I showed the guitar to my wife after I swapped pickguards, She said, "Very cool! . . . Wait, that's not a new guitar, is it?"

It honestly does look like a whole new guitar to me. It really sets it off, and shows the awesome wood grain that was hidden underneath, I am 100% happy with this mod.

Pickguard heaven did a great job cutting this one out. THey obviously know their stuff. The cutout for the pickups was literally just big enought to fit over the bobbins. THe bevel cut around the edge is super clean, and all the screwholes are countersunk. Again, couldn't be happier.

Jeff, add about $300 to that, and you'd be closer to what I'd sell it for, if I was selling.

Very nice... I love it.

If I'm not mistaken, I think that they make the pickguards for EBMM... I remember talking to them when I ordered a replacement for my AL.

Actually, it's trans blue. It seems to change colors on me depending on the light source. In some pics, it's blue. In others, it's a teal green.
