Since 2009, I have been interested in this exact model. I found many of them on the internet, but I had many concerns about buying an instrument without testing it. Yesterday, I was trying a new restaurant and found a mom-and-pop’s instrument shop in the mall and found this beautiful. Now it's mine!!

Your gastronomicly adventurous nature payed off !

Many years ago I sold my basic black SUB4 and over time I missed it. Then just a few years ago I saw one hanging at the local best shop. After a quick check I snagged it.

Later I noticed its not an SR version. It has an extra fret and three band EQ ... and "Sterling" on the headstock. Didnt even notice that at first as I was just so happy to have stumbled onto it !

I did treat us to a beautiful new PG for our birthday. Yes, thats "us" and "our". We share the same birthday.

Where would I go about looking for a fretless version, I vaguely remember seeing one on sale once many years ago, I assume they are not commonly available?

Over the years the SUB is the only thing that has stayed on my guitar stand in the room. Everything else is a case Queen. So the SUB gets a lot of play time.
I really wish they were still available especially in the cinnamon finish.
Just an idea to share
BFR SUB :)
