Steve, having seen this in my own family, I had a pretty good idea what was going on. I'm sorry that my suspicions were confirmed, but I am thrilled that you appear to be on the right side of danger at this point.

I've said it before, but you are made of stronger mettle than most and that fire that drives you (sometimes over a cliff) is the same spark, spit and spirit to get you through this.

And, I think it's safe to say that you have one helluva network of people in your corner. As alone as it can feel at times, you aren't alone.

Sounds like everyone is still friends & moving ahead in good directions--I was really concerned when I saw that Jack was no longer the Dude's EBMM sales pissboy (or was that monkey?) & that VBTC was suspending EBMM sales activities & also that Steve was having some non-bass issues that he was needing to address.

I am happy that things are on a good path for all, & this series of changes also prompted me to stir off of my fat ass & sign up for the EB forum--looks like a great place to hang. Only one thing has given me concern & that was SteveB's post referring to Jack as a "cunning linguist"--I read through this whole freaking thread & was going to use that reference myself. If SteveB's mind runs in the same gutter as mine, then maybe I can't risk the consequences of a space/time/harmonic convergence by posting here.

With that, I'll respect BPs wish to keep this a short thread--about 3 pages too late for that.

So much has been said, so eloquently. Steve, I have only one request. Please stay in touch with the community as you work through this. There truly is strength in numbers. It's so tempting when things are tough to withdraw...please don't. Rely on your friends...those relationships, even casual ones, are vitally important.

We're pulling for you!

Steve, I'm very proud of you brother. No matter what happens business wise you're a survivor and you'll come back better than ever. I've known you too long to think any other way.

BTW I hope to be with you at next year's School Of Bass if you need me.

Given the instructors you are gonna try to get for the event.
Yeah me too. If you need someone to run sandwiches or what ever I am so there.
One cool thing about it is you can do whatever you want to.
