Yaaa trick yaaa! I don't blame you on that one! It's what i'd describe as a light brown woody tone...as subjective as that might be. Do you think you could do a clip of you playing that same set up with the eq "flat"?

Yeah, I can try to do a few more videos with that setup. Although, I don't know how much 'flatter' I can get the EQ. I'm running into the first channel of the Reinhardt which only has Volume and Tone. The amp is a little on the darkside, so I had the Tone set around 2:00. 12:00 being flat. The only effect on there is an Analogman Delay. When I get some free time, I'll workup a few more videos of the AL/Reinhardt.

I'm discovering the limitations of the built-in mics that come on a laptop (hence the low loooow quality audio). They clip very easily and don't have alot of headroom! For my next video i'm going to try using a real mic into the laptop's mic input and see how that turns out...should be posting that one shortly as well.

Anyway, this is the bfr on the bridge p'up into a TC Electronic rack unit for some reverb through the loop of a Legacy in half-power mode. Rock!

A little off-topic...I've been trying to go back and rewatch all these vids for the past few days...except youtube has been very slow for me (and it's not my connection). The video will FINALLY start streaming, then maybe 5 seconds in it has to pause out to buffer some more (and so on).

Has anyone else found youtube to be almost unusable over the past few days?

you know, ive finding the same thing just today, every you tube video will only play for 5 seconds, no idea why???? It loads all the way, but no matter where i go to in the clip it only plays for 5 seconds then stops. weird.

I have that issue all the time, but it's Flash on the latest Firefox that's the culprit. When I use IE, no problems. (I keep using the beta versions so figure that's just part of the deal.)

Install a Firefox plugin called IE Tab. Lets you open IE Tabs within Firefox and switch to them if the page does not work in Firefox. Tech tip of the day!
