What we're dealing with are corporate Representatives or Stakeholders who have a biased opinion based on what's in their COMPANY'S best interest.

But that shouldn't surprise anyone ;)

Thank you comrade for making me see the light!

O/T, can I borrow one of your cool Che t-shirts?

Perfect!

I'm sure the drone of EBspeak would be preferred....

Actually, what I would prefer is for people to move on and to put all of this in the past. It's done. We're not going back to the way things were before. We're not going on to your fantasy of an EBMM VM model either.

Kevin Moore doesn't want to return to Dream Theater. Derek Sherinian is out too. Babe Ruth went to the Yankees. David Beckham has gone to the L.A. Galaxy. Juan Pablo Montoya has gone to NASCAR. Seinfeld is done. People continue to hire Bob Saget to host television shows. It's over. Move on.

Sterling Ball and the rest of his people are class acts. They are also running a pretty successful business. I think they do a darn good job of deciding what to sell, what to make, what not to make, etc. It's not your decision to make. Based on Paul Warren's account of his conversation with him, VM seems to be fine with moving on and finding himself another company to make him a guitar. I don't think any ranting is going to change anyone's mind about any decisions that have already been made.

As has been said, you came in here with guns blazing in boldface, no less, antagonizing a lot of people. You're coming into Big Poppa's house and insulting him. What has he ever done to you? We can nitpick and examine what words you used and what words you didn't use. It doesn't really matter. The tenor of your comments is the same regardless of whether you used the words "stupid," "lazy," or "greedy." I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that people here, who have been the beneficiaries of Sterling's kindness, generosity, and hospitality, are going to be a little sensitive to someone bashing their friend.

Your write of EBSpeak as if EBMM is attempting to mislead people and suppress dissent. You've spoken your peace. It has been read. So, you've had a chance to speak. I think dissent has been heard. EBMM have made their points. The point I am trying to make is that it's now pointless to continue to rehash this topic.

I actually think its funny!

Im not upset
Vinnies not upset
WHo upset?

JIffy boy!

For about 60 million I will let him make all of the calls (the check has to clear first!)

I'm honored that the great Stirling Ball has taken the time from his busy schedule to post to his own forum to subsequently defend his empire from the likes of me, 'Jiffy Boy.' I'm quite frankly thrilled! :D

Do you also take the unabashed opportunity when you're out in public life to treat underlings in the same condescending, disrespectful, dismissive manner Mr. Ball? Or do you just reserve that for the folks that come to your forum and voice their differentiating opinion?

Judging from your 7000+ posts I will conclude both.

So you head a multimillion dollar company. So what? Posting the things you posted makes you look like you should be running a lemonade stand.

So, please....Carry on.

And "Big Poppa"?? Please. Who coined that nom de plume? I'd have assume it would be based from the waist up.

Is this that game where you use three adjectives to describe yourself? You just succeeded in describing yourself.

Let's see here, I'm 1) polite, 2) happy to work for "Big Poppa" and 3) entertained by your unabashed manner of embarassing yourself.

Fullshred, really this is no business of yours or mine. Why are you getting so upset about it?

If you don't like the fact that he's leaving, fine, but don't presume to know the facts relating to the situation. Just move along if you don't agree.

"Seize the day" Beth? Really? Try deciphering this:

"Tu stupidus es" in working for EB and posting here.

Better?

i'd go with either A) Quite Frankly I'm thrilled! or maybe B) Frankly...I'm quite thrilled!

and voice their differentiating opinion?

You may have gone a step beyond opinion here, there is a right way and wrong way to voice an opinion. If the objective is getting that opinion to be heard its always better to go about it the right way.

I called EB "lazy" and that's the crux of it in regard to an EB model for VM. That's my opinion. And then Stirling and the rest of his minions come forward and start a flame war? I won't post here anymore than I'll ever buy or recommend an EB product again, rest assured. Sure it will have a nill effect, but it's money better spent elsewhere.
