On the lookout for a pair of 6-string Bongos, one fretted, one lined fretless. Preferably with the updated hardware. Preferred colours are candy apple red and firemist purple.

Are you sure what you are looking for exists? I used to defret a lot of Ray4s and 5s because there were no factory fretless ones. There are no US made SUBs.I´m looking for a US fretless SUB 4-string in black in good condition without any mods.
Until around 2006, maybe. After that, all SUB (Sport Utility Bass, believe it or not) were made offshore, mostly Indonesia. So, we are both right and both wrong. lol
I know about the SBMM SUBs. I owned one. That's not what the post you quoted was asking for.Until around 2006, maybe. After that, all SUB (Sport Utility Bass, believe it or not) were made offshore, mostly Indonesia. So, we are both right and both wrong. lol
In this space of person-to-person sales, the goal is quite obviously a USED early 21st century SUB from SLO. Theyre not too rare, but an FL will require some patience. Are you sure what you are looking for exists? I used to defret a lot of Ray4s and 5s because there were no factory fretless ones. I have a firemist purple Bongo fretted 6 string. It's the rarer SH configuration. I'm not greedy, so we can discuss price. It weighs more than my back can take, about 10.5 pounds. On the lookout for a pair of 6-string Bongos, one fretted, one lined fretless. Preferably with the updated hardware.
