On the lookout for a pair of 6-string Bongos, one fretted, one lined fretless. Preferably with the updated hardware. Preferred colours are candy apple red and firemist purple.

Anyone? :D

Looking for a bridge pickup for a 2008-2017 Stingray 5 HH - mine was replaced by the previous owner with a Sterling Ray35 pickup.

Just to add to my earlier post - still looking for the two Bongo sixers, but I'm also on the lookout for a fretless 5-string Bongo. Anyone got one they're willing to part with?

Until around 2006, maybe. After that, all SUB (Sport Utility Bass, believe it or not) were made offshore, mostly Indonesia. So, we are both right and both wrong. lol
I know about the SBMM SUBs. I owned one. That's not what the post you quoted was asking for.

Are you sure what you are looking for exists? I used to defret a lot of Ray4s and 5s because there were no factory fretless ones. There are no US made SUBs.
In this space of person-to-person sales, the goal is quite obviously a USED early 21st century SUB from SLO. Theyre not too rare, but an FL will require some patience.

I have a firemist purple Bongo fretted 6 string. It's the rarer SH configuration. I'm not greedy, so we can discuss price. It weighs more than my back can take, about 10.5 pounds.
