Yes it will give you that sound a la Robert Cray. What exactly does GAS mean? I imagine it's an insatiable thirst that cannot be quenched unless the one specific thing is attained.
Like, if I were to say I have GAS for a LH Albert Lee after watching the Sir Paul McCartney videos on YouTube, would that be appropriate? Would it also be proper to say that I have retired any want for a LH-JP6, and have replaced it with GAS for a LH-AL?
I've been watching some old footage of Robert Cray, and was curious if anyone could tell me if they can get a Robert Cray tone out of the 2nd position? (between bridge and middle pickups) I don't want to revert to a stupid F****r, and all ready have a Silhouette Special. I find that the Dimarzio pickups in the SS are a little too hot for the bluesy RC feel I want. I love the SS for rockin' blues all the way to metal, but for mellow blues, jazz and maybe a little country I think the Seymour Duncans would be a trip.
Any comments?
I believe he has a one-legged ex-wife he'd love for you to take off his hands... relatively cheap at that![]()
